Security

Your institute's data, kept safe.

Institutes hold details of students, parents and payments, often of minors. Here's how NurtureOS protects them.

Encrypted in transit

Everything between your browser or phone and NurtureOS travels over an encrypted connection.

Role-based access

Owners, managers, counsellors and staff see only what their role needs, phone numbers, fees and reports included.

Branch-scoped access

Staff access follows their assigned branches. Owners get a consolidated view across all of them.

Regular backups

Backups are taken regularly so your institute's records can be recovered.

Your data, exportable

Your institute owns its data. Ask us for a full export any time, and request deletion when you close your account.

Never sold

We process your data only to provide the service, and share it only with sub-processors needed to run it.

India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act

Under the DPDP Act, your institute decides why personal data is collected; Nurture processes it on your behalf. NurtureOS supports you in meeting those responsibilities:

  • Data used only to provide the service you signed up for
  • Access limited by role and branch
  • Records can be corrected, exported or deleted on request
  • Data shared only with sub-processors needed to run the service

Questions

Who owns the student and parent data in NurtureOS?

Your institute does. Nurture processes it on your behalf as a service provider and does not sell it.

Can my counsellors see fee or financial details?

Only if their role allows it. Access is role-based and branch-scoped, so each person sees what their job needs.

Can we get our data out if we leave?

Yes. Our team can export your data on request, and you can request deletion when your account is closed.

How do you handle data about minors?

Many institutes store details of students under 18. Access controls limit who can view them, and parents' and students' rights to access, correct or delete data can be exercised through the institute or by contacting us via the Contact page.

How do I report a security concern?

Reach us through the Contact page with the details. We treat security reports as a priority.

Full details are in our Privacy Policy. Questions? Contact us.
